Boomi, the self-described “Integration Cloud Company,” has announced record growth in the first six months of 2010, adding 150 new customers and tripling subscription revenues year over year. Here’s a closer look at the company.

The Boomi solution, according to their press release, is based around their flagship SaaS AtomSphere product, which connects providers’ clouds with on-premise, hybrid, or even other cloud applications, apparently allowing for easy migration. They count companies like NetSuite and WebMD as customers.

This last year, Boomi boasts that they launched three so-called industry firsts: what they refer to as the first real-time cloud-based “integration broker,” the first web dashboard to show visibility into Boomi service availability, and the first suggestion engine -- called Boomi Suggest -- that trawls the user community and comes up with solutions others have come up with for similar cloud migration solutions.

This news comes hot off the heels that former Cast Iron Systems competitor Jitterbit launched its own partner program. So while as a privately-held company, we can't do a real reality check on their claims -- but from where MSPmentor’s standing it’s only natural that more cloud adoption means more opportunities for cloud integration.
