Remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provides exceptional value for managed service providers and their customers, which is reflected in recent data.

A June 2015 Dimension Data study revealed remote monitoring and automated management software can help users reduce the time to troubleshoot faulty networking devices by 75 percent.

The study also indicated this software allows users to reduce the time to repair defective networking devices by 32 percent.

RMM software can help MSPs troubleshoot and repair faulty network devices, and ultimately, take a proactive approach to resolve such issues. 

It also empowers MSPs in a number of areas, including:

  • Providing an advanced services portfolio -- RMM software ensures an MSP can bolster its services portfolio, monitor network issues and stay ahead of these problems. 
  • Improving SLAs -- With RMM software, an MSP can improve their chances of meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and fulfilling customers' IT needs consistently. 
  • Reducing the risk of downtime -- Downtime can be problematic for businesses of all sizes, but RMM software ensures an MSP can limit the risk of downtime for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprises.
