Evident.io has released a new security-as-a-service platform for Amazon Web Services (AWS) that evaluates risks and vulnerabilities.
Evident.io Chief Technology Officer Justin Lundy
The Evident Security Platform (ESP) for AWS provides risk management for cloud infrastructures of all sizes, according to the company.
ESP for AWS can identify 74 critical risks and vulnerabilities, Evident.io said, and enables users to manage security for all of their accounts from a single interface.
Other ESP for AWS features include:
- Agentless architecture
- Color-coded dashboard
- Continuous monitoring of AWS accounts
- Intelligent workflow
- Trend analysis reporting
Evident.io noted ESP for AWS is designed for several types of organizations, including:
- Government agencies
- Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
- Startup companies
Justin Lundy, Evident.io's chief technology officer, commented on the release in a prepared statement:
"The vast majority of solutions we had used and evaluated for AWS cloud security initiatives did not meet our needs, so we set out to build a next-generation platform. In many leading technology companies today, AWS and other cloud deployments are continuous and they need a tool that works well with that paradigm."
Evident.io also is offering a free 14-day trial of ESP for AWS.
Additional details about the trial offer are available on the company's website.
