The distribution was "not just an executive decision... It's an entire company decision," said VM6 Software Vice President of Business Development and Marketing Jean-David Begin. "Any time you get into this sort of business relationship you have to make sure your partner is completely committed. They are committed to training their staff."
Begin didn't say how long that training period would last, but he did say interACT need sales training, time to become well versed in VM6 Software's product, and must be able to identify potential clientele. "They [interACT) have a fantastic footprint in the field and can help us penetrate the international market," said Begin. "Their system is not as complicated as other options, they have relationships in our target area and they are committed to push [VM6] in their region."
VM6 made an international play in the MSP field in early 2011 when it launched a Global Managed Service Provider Partner Program. We'll be watching to see if interACT connects European MSPs with VM6.
