Michael Ewing, the newly named chief marketing officer at LogMeIn, apparently has four big messaging priorities. Those priorities certainly include managed services providers, a growing area of focus for the remote control software company.

According to a prepared statement statement from LogMeIn, Ewing has his eyes focused on:
  • Cloud computing
  • Consumerization of IT
  • the Post-PC Era
  • the Internet of Things
Ewing joined LogMeIn from Vistaprint, where he was senior VP and managing director of the company's Asia Pacific (APAC) business. As CMO of LogMeIn, Ewing is responsible for managing worldwide marketing operations to accelerate awareness, adoption, and sales of LogMeIn's growing product portfolio.

More than 30 percent of MSPmentor 100 companies use LogMeIn's software for such capabilities as remote control services. LogMeIn recently upgraded LogMeIn Pro and has also been promoting a free collaboration platform, called Join.Me, to business managers and IT professionals.
