Jon Garber, Vice President & Master of Disaster, Connections for Business
Garber has dedicated himself to education and outreach in the IT industry for 15 years. He is a frequent guest and keynote speaker in his market, at peer conferences on vital MSP subjects such as cloud computing and cybersecurity. He has coached hundreds of fellow MSPs on positioning and selling cloud computing in their markets resulting in several million dollars of cloud revenue added to the MSP community.
Christine Gassman, Manager of Partner Development, Datto
Gassman has blended her love for IT and Datto with her passion for customer service and helping MSPs identify the best ways to go-to-market with Datto solutions. Her single biggest contribution was her creation, implementation and launch of the new Datto Partner Plus program which has resulted in a increase of 3,000 new Datto Partners from 2013 to 2014.
Sanford Gladding, Vice President Sales & Marketing, ATS Communications Inc.
Gladding and his team have created triple-digit growth year over year since the company’s inception in 2012. He takes a consultative approach to educating clients on how MSP and cloud services can eliminate the two greatest risks a business can face - obsolescence and a high total cost of ownership.
Jeff Grace, CEO, NetEffect
Grace is Nevada’s first Service Provider recipient of a gaming license by the Nevada Gaming Commission. This lets NetEffect participate in the support and management of IT systems regulated by the Gaming Control Board. NetEffect now has six gaming clients. The company grew top line revenue by 20 percent during the worst recession in Las Vegas in decades, Jan. 2008 to Dec. 2013. And it merged with its longtime competitor, uptimeLV, in July 2014. Grace is an active participant in HTG, and provides help and assistance to other MSPs throughout the country, always striving to drive the MSP industry forward in regard to ethics, profit, and service.
David Graffia, VP Sales, dinCloud
Graffia has established relationships and built partnerships with some of the industry’s largest global aggregators and Value Added Resellers (VARs) including Ingram Micro, En Pointe Technologies, CDW, Insight Enterprises, and Tech Data. Between 2013 and 2014, he added hundreds of new customers across an array of verticals including legal, healthcare, retail, and financial. He has also served on numerous advisory councils and is currently a member of the Technology Executives Club, IT Leaders Circle and IT Marketing Institute.
Eric Gray, Convergence Networks, Founder
Gray has improved the profitability of Convergence Networks through operational improvements and innovations, resulting in a three-year growth of 36.62 percent. He also coaches other MSPs in the United States and internationally.
Benjamin Greene, President, Greene Information Systems
Greene’s business philosophy includes freely sharing his business plans. This approach has led to partnerships and acquisitions as well as referrals from friendly competitors, enabling him to be on track to double revenue again for the fourth year in a row.
Bob Groves, VP of Sales, Datatility
Groves’ Datatility manages a geo-dispersed, secure, reliable, and cost effective data storage solution. His company has developed Hydra, a secure, flexible, scalable managed storage solution.
Paul Hager, CEO, Information Technology Professionals
Hager’s company was recently added to Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the United States. His leadership has guided the company to 5 straight years of 38 percent or greater growth. ITP is his 3rd company after creating multiple advance technology patents which he has sold to Microsoft, and Hager is actively working with Google on another one of his patent products. Hager also serves on Ingram Micro's SMB Alliance Council.
Michael Halperin, CEO, PC Network Services
Halperin spearheaded the acquisition of PC Network Services (PCNS) in 2014 and now serves as PCNS' CEO. It is the fourth managed services practice over which Michael has served as the senior executive. Two of these (GreenPages and PCNS) have been named to the MSPmentor 501 (both in the top 200). Michael was a co-founder of Cogent Growth Partners, a leading M&A company focused specifically on the Managed Services industry, and also has consulted with MSPs while leading his own consultancy, FreeBridge.
Nancy Hammervik, Senior VP Industry Relations, CompTIA
Hammervik is responsible for elevating CompTIA's public profile among its membership and across the IT industry. She is the principal liaison between members and the association; helps shape CompTIA educational programs and association initiatives for the IT channel; and acts as an advocate on behalf of members and the broader industry. This past year, she helped to raise the profile of women in the IT channel with the launch of the Dream IT program within CompTIA's Advancing Women in IT Community. She is preparing to launch CompTIA's Future Leaders Community, aimed at highlighting the work of Millenials in the IT channel.
Adam Harris, Transmentum
Harris successfully built and exited from two MSP companies. He has helped a number of North American vendors enter and grow in the European market. He has coached and mentored over 50 MSPs in the UK. He also served as CEO of the Technology Channels Association, grew membership and revenue by 30 percent in 2 years and then successfully merged the association into CompTIA in 2010.
Kyle Harvey, IT Consultant, Cyberian Technologies
Harvey joined Cyberian Technologies in 2010 and has experienced 350 percent growth in managed services revenue over the last 2 years.
Daniel Haurey, President, Exigent Technologies LLC
Haurey is the chief visionary behind Exigent Technologies’ long-standing success in the IT industry. The company has earned Inc. 5000 recognition and inclusion on the 2013 and 2014 MSPmentor 501 Global Edition list. His team has also earned the business of high-profile customers including Carlo’s Bakery of the hit TV series “Cake Boss”. Haurey serves as the current President the Ingram Micro VentureTech Network (VTN) Big Apple Chapter and also supports a number of local charities and nonprofit organizations.
Mary Hester, CEO, LAN Systems
Hester has transformed LAN Systems into a top MSP contender, winning number 3 in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Best Places to Work and a place on the coveted "Bulldog 100.” As a finalist in the Women in Technology 2014 Women of the Year, Mary is celebrated for her dedication to the advancement of technology.
Warren Hino, President, Numa Networks
Hino founded Numa Networks in 2010 with a handful of clients and 2 engineers. He will end 2014 with 16 employees, averaging 40 to 60 percent growth every year.
Amy Hodge, Director of Community, ConnectWise
Amy Hodge leads ConnectWise’s community efforts, including several regional user meetings every year and the company’s annual IT Nation conference which has become one of the largest gatherings of managed service providers and IT service providers in the world.
Jason Holbrook, Principal and Chief Security Officer, Empower Information Systems
Holbrook’s work to create an API integration between his RMM and PSA solutions has enabled his company to effectively close out more than 300 tickets in less than 2 hours. The added efficiency has enabled Empower to add customers without having to increase staff.
John Holland, CEO and Founder, D4
Holland’s company created and offers an eDiscovery managed service solution for law firms and corporate law departments that has saved law firms and their clients millions of dollars in legal expenses. D4 managed services process was designed from the ground up to give organizations a streamlined outsourced or hybrid e-discovery capability that can be repeated across virtually all legal matters. The result is a highly responsive, controlled process that delivers substantial cost savings.
Jeanne Hopkins, Senior Vice President, Acquisition & CMO, Continuum Managed IT Services
Hopkins has built a powerhouse metrics-based sales and marketing team that drives quality leads and revenue for MSP partners. She was responsible for launching the company’s first-ever user conference for MSPs that attracted hundreds of thousands of dollars in sponsorship money with more than 400 people attending the 3-day sold out conference in September 2014. She also launched Collaborate, a private forum for partners to freely connect, share and learn; the MSP Resource Center, an online library of eBooks, case studies, white papers and webinars; and MSPradio, Continuum’s weekly radio program to reach “on-the-go” MSPs.
Eric Humes, CEO, Keystone IT
Humes has led Keystone IT, which specializes in serving healthcare customers, to a 50 percent increase in gross revenue and has doubled the number of FTEs annually since 2007.
Ted Husly, VP Marketing, eFolder
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hulsy has served in IT marketing roles for over 15 years at companies such as Dell SonicWALL, Netopia, and Sprint. He is active in HTG Peer Groups as a vendor member.
Leonard Jacobs, President/CEO, Netsecuris Inc.
Jacobs started an internship/mentorship program to train IT candidates with practical information security knowledge and working experience. The interns/mentees are either still in college or graduates who were unable to find employment due to lack of work experience. Jacobs also created an affordable program that enables MSPs to could offer a managed security service to customers and make a profit.
Chris Jann, President & CEO, Medicus Solutions
Jann’s organization has grown revenue over 325 percent since 2011. The company specializes in the Healthcare Informatics in the southeast United States. Jann has spoken at industry events about HIPAA security topics.
Chris Janse van Rensburgm, Director, Numata Business IT
Janse van Rensburg re-engineered Numata Business IT's operations strategy to drive over 100 percent growth in the last fiscal year, while also maintaining a customer satisfaction rate of over 97 percent.
Marcos Jiron, Managed Services Administrator, DCNC Inc.
Jiron has overseen the MSP division of DCNC, Inc. for the last year, during which time business continuity solutions projects have seen 100 percent growth and the remote monitoring and maintenance projects have increased by 75 percent.
Matt Johnson, CEO and President, Raven Data Tech
Matt Johnson has built an MSP practice has is tripled in size since opening in 2011 and expanded operations to include clients in six different countries while maintaining a 95 percent customer retention with 99.99 percent customer uptime.
Dave Johnson, President / CEO, Portland Managed Services
Dave converted all of his break/fix customers to 3-year managed services clients in one year, increasing his recurring revenue stream by 200 percent. He converted over 70 percent of his managed clients to his private cloud offering in that same time.
Charles Johnson, CEO, EDTS
Johnson has built an MSP that has increased sales by 600 percent since 2009 and has tripled the number of employees to close to 60. The company has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for 5 consecutive years.
