Enterprise mobility management (EMM) company Visage Mobile released a new data and analytics as a service offering to assist managed services providers (MSPs) with managing customer mobile usage and spending.

VisagePulse provides MSPs with an analysis of cross- or single-carrier mobile spending every month, focusing on various management areas including total spending by carrier, trending costs by carrier and non-recurring charge breakdowns.

The new solution "provides an opportunity for MSPs to offer additional value to their current and potentially new customers," Visage Operations Vice President Steve Prince told MSPmentor.

"Initially, Pulse whets the appetite of an MSP’s potential customer," he said. "The customers see aggregation and trending of data in charts and graphs that they’ve potentially never seen before."

Pulse also provides MSPs with an opportunity "to engage the customer in future services," Prince said.

"While we offer many of the standard industry programs, it’s our ability to customize a solution for a partner, making us unique," he said. "It’s our goal to tailor the program for the MSP to ensure it meets their needs to build their business and add customer value."

Visage will continue to offer MSPs ways to increase margins and create new value-added products in 2014, Prince added.
