SysAid IT 8.0 is available as a Sofware-as-a-Service (SaaS) or as an in-house version, and a full version is free for small businesses of 100 or fewer users. We're checking to see if SysAid will also promote version 8.0 to MSPs and VARs seeking mobile help desk solutions.
SysAid IT 8.0 focuses heavily on IT security. It lets users self-reset their passwords and self-unlock their accounts using wizards, customize security questions and is compatible with LDAP password policies, according to the company.
Mobile device management (MDM) and mobile-enabled help desk software each seem to be gaining momentum within the managed services market.
