Symantec said that the move was part of its “continued commitment to helping MSPs maximize opportunities, simplify their managed services business, increase customer confidence, and accelerate profitability.”
That’s something that’s been more of a priority than ever before for the company under its new channel chief, John Eldh, who joined previously focused on Symantec.Cloud and built on former channel chief Randy Cochrane’s efforts last year.
"Symantec is committed to delivering the right solutions to enable MSPs to grow their business by continually looking at ways to help them increase their monthly recurring revenue,” Eldh said in a prepared statement. “Our industry-leading solutions, combined with our extensive partner program benefits, single management console, and flexible deployment options, offer managed service providers the ability to maximize opportunities that allow them to grow their business."
Sounds like Symantec, which is attending this week's Kaseya Connect 2012 User Conference, is looking for MSP partners now. We'll stay tuned for more developments.
