At the N-able Partner Summit in Scottsdale, Ariz., CEO Gavin Garbutt (pictured) is pulling back the curtain on a global growth strategy and solutions roadmap. The effort includes "key vertical markets, alliances and integrated solutions" that will allow MSPs to deliver next-generation managed services and cloud-based offerings over the next 18 months, N-able claims. Here's the update.

N-able didn't unveil any big, shocking announcements. But a number of targeted relationships, MSPmentor believes, could unlock new revenue opportunities for MSPs. They include:
  • Remote Backup Manager/Replication: Offered as part of the growing N-central/CA ARCserve D2D bundle, Remote Backup Manager/Replication is available now as a complementary service to the other four Remote Backup Manager solutions or as a stand-alone product designed to help MSPs ensure their clients’  business data is up to date, protected and accessible, N-able claims. The company announced the CA Technologies relationship in September 2010, so continued work between N-able and the CA ARCserve team sounds like a natural move.
  • Remote Audit Manager: Developed in alliance with eEye Digital Security, the new suite of services includes Remote Audit Manager/Vulnerability, Compliance and Configuration, N-able claims. The MSP-centric developments will "help customers meet regulatory goals, while managing network vulnerabilities and risk," N-able says. The offering is expected to arrive in December 2010.
  • Remote Netflow Manager – Currently under development, Remote Netflow Manager is powered by Visual Network Systems and consists of two offerings: Remote Netflow Manager/Tracker and Remote Netflow/Reporter. Available by end of year, Remote Netflow Manager will make it easier for MSPs to bridge the gap between business goals and IT by providing valuable insight into capacity management and provisioning, as well as network assessment and planning, N-able claims.

Looking Back to Look Ahead

N-able has a habit of unveiling integration relationships at its partner conferences. During the 2009 gathering, N-able announced a freemium endpoint security strategy that involved Panda Security. In some ways, the CA, eEye Digital and Visual Network Systems relationships reinforce that partner-to-grow strategy.
