First, a little bit about Autotask. Autotask provides a business management platform that aims to optimize business processes for technology providers such as MSPs. Autotask's system includes customer relationship management (CRM), service desk, contracts, tech scheduling, project management, billing and reporting, and provides real-time service delivery intelligence.
The independenceIT integrationindependenceIT's Autotask integration will enable partners to leverage its nPanel and Cloud Workspace from within Autotask. These independenceIT technologies are designed to enable MSPs to manage cloud services from a single management location view.
independenceIT said it developed the nPanel Platform primarily for MSPs, internet services providers (ISPs), and value-added resellers (VARs) to manage cloud service customers. nPanel provides partners with a unified system for multi-product single location management and automatic services provisioning. Cloud Workspace allows partners to manage administrative tasks with user management tools.
independenceIT Business Development EVP Jim Lippie said told MSPmentor in an email that partners can integrate a cloud management platform to their PSA through this partnership. He added that the integration minimizes efforts spent "juggling between multiple platforms."
"It continues to demonstrate our commitment to the channel community and ensures that we’re making their job easier and their businesses more profitable through enhanced efficiency," he said. "It’s also recognition that iIT’s Cloud Workspace is becoming an important part of the virtual desktop landscape for MSPs and VARs."
Lippie added that independenceIT is looking for partners that are using a PSA tool, currently using an RMM tool, and are interested in growing their recurring revenue.
Partners interested in learning more about the Autotask – iIT integration are invited to register for a complimentary webinar to be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. ET. iIT will also be exhibiting at the Autotask Community Live conference in Scottsdale, Ariz. from June 2-4, 2013.
Work Market integrationWork Market CEO Jeffrey Leventhal said that the integration by his company allows Autotask partners to take advantage of qualified contractors. With Work Market, the company's clients can customize both Autotask and Work Market configurations to align with their business processes.
"The integration with Work Market makes it easier for Autotask clients to expand their capacity and the range of services they offer by building a network of external resources," said Autotask Community and Business Development SVP Len DiCostanz in a prepared statement. "From within Autotask, users can assign tickets and track and manage work in progress, whether it is assigned to internal or external resources."
Work Market's software layered on top of Autotask allows enterprises to access a global marketplace of qualified temporary works, freelancers, and contractors, while also leveraging a global payment engine, the company said.
Any MSP customer who signs up for a one year or longer agreement within the next 60 days will receive free API integration as part of a Work Market promotion.
