Cloud-based performance management provider AppNeta is more closely aligning its go-to-market pricing model with what managed service providers want through a consumption-based billing plan available to MSP partners. The new pricing is available through the company's new partner program for MSPs. Here are the details.

AppNeta's solution focuses on ensuring the performance of applications where performance really matters, such as VoIP, video conferencing, virtualization and web-based services, providing a view into end user experience. Called the PathView Cloud network performance service, the solution lets MSPs see across multiple customer infrastructures in a single view and then pinpoints problems and their causes.

AppNeta CEO Jim Melvin told MSPmentor that monitoring the end-user experience is critical when it comes to applications such as VoIP and video conferencing. MSPs must make sure these types of applications work before rolling them out to customers. AppNeta's new MSP partner program is designed to bring these benefits to managed service providers through a pricing model that MSPs had requested.

The new program includes the following:
  • Network assessments
  • Continious monitoring
  • Proactive troubleshooting
  • Scheduled reporting
  • Alerts
  • Centralized dashboards and alerts
  • Cloud-delivered implementation and automatic service upgrades
  • White-labeled custom-branded interface
  • Utility-based monthly recurring revenue (MRR) model
The just-launched program already has ten partners and AppNeta expects a rapid expansion to its partner base. AppNeta says that these MSP partners  are able to seamlessly and easily integrate AppNeta services into their existing managed service contracts and to create enhanced service offerings.
