Konica acquired All Covered, a roll-up MSP, in 2011. At the time I wondered if All Covered would end its M&A activity. To the contrary, All Covered -- which essentially has a nationwide footprint -- has marched forward with more M&A deals.
The latest such deal involves Service Assurance, which launched in 1989 and has since expanded its services to include strategic IT planning, 24x7 help desk support, remote backup management, cloud services, email and security management. All Covered President Todd Croteau, in a prepared statement, pointed to a continued focus on managed IT services that improve SMB productivity.
It sounds like Service Assurance CEO Mark Giannini will stay on with All Covered as part of the deal -- though I'm double-checking that nugget of info.
This is the latest in a growing list of MSP-centric mergers and acquisitions. The year, as expected, started with a tidal wave of activity.
